ICAM Controls Quality as Part of Compliance
![]()
Quality Assurance may be addressed four ways within the client environment
Quality Control Embedded as a Task within Existing Process
Tasks in ICAM may support the Quality Control of any process. These tasks include those associated with verification, confirmation and/or validation.
Quality Control Processes through Conditional Branching
Tasks within the flexible ICAM management system may be configured to conditionally initiate quality control processes as a result of the actual findings. An example of this would be the requirement to update the ECDA Plan.
Routing
With a flexible management system like ICAM each process may be configured to require routing following completion of processes that are deemed part of a critical path. Within the system the accountable and authority roles have the right to approve or reject processes, while providing detailed justification for any decisions. Accordingly, the responsible party and the approving parties may dialog through a message board creating a permanent record of the “Why” associated with each decision.
Specific Quality Control Processes
Quality Control processes may be specifically created such as those associated with
1. Regulatory Review
2. Integrity Asset Review
3. Integrity Program Review
4. Business Considerations
5. Excavation Schedule Review
