ICAM Manages Changes to Integrity Plans

Whether your integrity plan is paper based or is managed in an application such as ICAM, changes need to be documented. Understanding what was changed and why is critical to the continuity of any integrity program. Documentation of change represents a critical path in knowledge continuity by providing historical information regarding decisions that were made and why.

With the ICAM management system, reviews may be required on a scheduled basis with the results of the review conditionally driving change where required. These changes may be in reaction to a change in the company or the system, they may be in reaction to the results of its implementation or they may simply address improvement toward a performance based approach.
